The absence of attention to this core feature has come alongside the rise of "MyTeam" along with "MyCareer," two game modes of "NBA 2K22" that provide the player with an enormous advantage only attainable if they use more real money to help make their team or player more effective. These two game modes are by far the most popular, and it's difficult to be competitive without spending more money.
The game's most profitable game mode, "MyTeam," is similar to the previous two installments. This game's mode is buying an "card pack" of basketball players hidden (players purchase a "card pack" in the hope of finding the perfect player, such as Michael Jordan or Lebron James. This is essentially gambling and is a slap to the people who have already spent $70 on the initial cost in the first game.
The "MyCareer" mode lets players to make their own basketball player who is on a path toward becoming an NBA superstar. In this year's edition, the NBA made not an effort to create a unique or intriguing story. It is a story that is about a young social media star having three options for his basketball career.
Each option has boring and predictable stories. The poor quality can cause a lot of players to avoid repetitive cutscenes to simply play basketball. What route a player chooses ultimately doesn't matter because they all end at the same end point which makes the majority of it irrelevant.
